With the constant public attention that celebrities live under today, it comes as no surprise that they often feel the need to protect their personal time. That’s exactly what happened when Hilary Duff went on a recent dinner outing with her mother and sister, as the Lizzie McGuire actress stonewalled two nine year old fans requesting autographs - leaving them in tears.
Hilary had been on a quiet vacation in Texas with her family and was dining at the Pier 36 Seafood and Oyster bar when she was spotted. Within moments, two nine year old fans came running up to Hilary asking her to sign their t-shirts and posters. However, she quickly declined, stating, “I don’t really get to spend a lot of time with my family; sorry,” then turned to exit the restaurant as the little girls wept.
What appeared to add insult to injury was Hilary’s decision on the way out of the restaurant to oblige the manager by signing one the restaurants menus.
“On their way out, the owner asked if Hilary would sign a menu and she did,” the New York Daily News quoted an insider, as saying. Not exactly a text book way of protecting your fan base.

Nice job, Hilary. U signed a menu but not for two adoring fans who just wanted your autograph? What happened to your good girl image? You just go around wearing revealing clothes now, reported partying drunk even though you’re underage, and won’t even sign for your child fans? U r losing ur fans, Hilary, mostly your younger fans.

Well she probably doesn’t get much time to spend with her family…And I’m sure she was very sorry when the little girls cried. Hilary is not loosing fans. She is still a very good person and she still has the good girl image. UH WHERE DID YOU HERE THAT LIE? That was a rumor if i ever heard one! Hilary Duff ” partying drunk”!! Hahahaha very funny!!!!!
